BSN Admissions

To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program, you must:

  • Complete an online select Nursing (Bachelor of Science) RN to BSN major/program.
  • Individuals with a current 91proÊÓÆµ Admissions Application—submitted within the past year or who are currently enrolled as academic students—are eligible to complete a limited-access program application for the .
  • Submit an official high school transcript, GED, or equivalent verifying proof of high school graduation to the Office of the Registrar.
  • Submit official from all other colleges attended verifying completion of an AS (or AAS) Degree in Nursing or a Diploma in Nursing to the Office of the Registrar. **
  • Submit a current unencumbered Registered Nurse license to practice in Florida (or multistate).
  • Submit a current CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) certificate.
  • Once you have confirmed with the Registrar’s Office that your transcripts have been evaluated, please contact Advising and Counseling to register for classes. 
  • If you are a graduating 91proÊÓÆµ nursing student and have met all ADN program completion standards, you may apply and start the RN-BSN program without an active RN license. You must obtain an RN license within 16 weeks of starting the program to continue enrollment. It is your responsibility to report licensure status to the Health Sciences Academic Advisor or the RN-BSN Program Coordinator by providing proof of RN licensure.

NOTE: The seven-year expiration rule does not apply to science courses for RN to BSN applicants.
